FLORetina 2019 – Florence Retina Meeting
Abstract submission
Three meeting sessions were dedicated to sharing and discussing innovative ideas from participants with the expert panel and the delegates: research and work on medical or surgical retina, relevant to present practice or future scenarios.
Presentation types
- Oral presentations for the medical and surgical sessions (3 min + 2 min discussion)
- Video presentations for the medical and surgical sessions (3 min + 2 min discussion)
- Paper posters for the poster session
Guidelines
- Abstracts were limited to 340 words and had to be received by March 17th, 2019 (23:59:59 GMT+1). All submissions had to be in English.
- Authors indicated their preference for oral, video or poster presentation, and selected the main specialty and topic. Video presentations also required an abstract summary; only the files necessary for the abstract (images or video) were uploaded.
- Abstracts included the title of the proposed paper or video and the authors' names and institutional affiliations, with full contact information.
- The Scientific Committee accepted submissions on the basis of originality, clinical relevance and capacity to stimulate discussion: 30 abstracts (15 for the medical and 15 for the surgical session) were selected for oral presentation, while other accepted abstracts could be selected for the poster session.
- The presenting author of an accepted abstract had to register and pay the registration fee to present; payment was requested only after acceptance.
Abstract submission for this edition is closed.
